I Have Done it Again

I have done it again
But the control has been taken out of my hands
And placed in the hands of the protectors
He tried to resist temptation
But the succumbed to the opposite extremity
For there was only one other option to
Give himself up to the devil
Sold his soul to the poor sad man
Who needed it for his own ill daughter
The daughter recovered
The father did not
And he floated down the Ganges and Styx
And down into hell
Far below the place he always knew he’d go
Though he stopped before he reached it
To go get some coffee

Very humorous. At first it seemed kind of dark, then you understand the joke at the end. Great work!
