I cant say I heard something you said,
and your voice was the only thing in my head
I cant say, once you smiled at me,
it was the only thing I could see
I cant say you had me from hello,
and love started to grow
But I can say, that before last summer could end
I was falling in love with my best friend
And I can say, before I knew you,
I felt all alone and had know one to turn to
I can say, I wouldnt be able to live without,
you getting me through my fear and doubt
Everytime I need a hand,
Its you who lifts me up to stand
and now before this poem can end,
I'm head over heels for my best friend
