Everyone presumes that you are perfect
Your pin-straight hair cascading seamlessly
Over your effortlessly square shoulders
Your nose impossibly shaped
As if you were manufactured by Mattel
But you were the only one not defected from glitches
Your skin, tan and moisturized perpetually
Your incessant fuchsia lip gloss-coated smile
Your naturally rosy cheeks
But beauty
Isn’t always visible
While looking in your full-length mirror
Perhaps the mirror isn’t really full-length.
