I see you,
you see me
always on my mind
thats the only place you are alive.
On the street I see your reflection,
in the midst of crowded
people in a city like
New York
I run to you getting close,
as close as I can
you dissapear out of view
then as this happens
I am awaken by a sea of
reality knowing that
you dont exist.
It feels sadness in here
when it happens,
but then I accept it
to break away from the
ghost of you
that always follows me,
during the day,
and it stays till
the end of the night.
I know I can forget you
and live this crazy life
like I have the right
to.
There is nothing left
to figure out
but I dont think I'll
ever break away from the ghost
of you.
