Old Laundry
"He can change, he won't lie,"
within this message is a desperate cry.
You want all this from him, but he won't change,
You can't keep me here forever in anger.
We are best friends, and I wish I could change her,
but to be honest, she's just a hanger.
In his closet of girls he has hung,
like an old piece of laundry that's gathering dust.
She stills clings to what's inside,
I try hard to talk to her but with no reply.
Her life is now hers; I can't rearrange,
to me I'm a no one; I am estranged.
Like an old piece of laundry that's gathering dust.
