I Appreciate It Too Much

My life is not wasted if I read
books,
it is only wasted if I do not feel anything from reading.
My life is not wasted if no one read my poems,
it is only wasted if I stop writing
because no one sees them.
My life is not wasted if I dream too much and live slowly,
it is only wasted if I pick up the pace,
strap on machinery
and let time pass me by as I become
just
like
everybody
else.
