A Child's Imagination

I am told all the time,
“Oh grow up!
Get rid of all those silly daydreams!”
Why are my daydreams silly?
A few years ago,
those daydreams were celebrated
and I didn’t have to have to pretend like they didn’t exist.
When I was a child,
I would play in the woods with my friends.
We were princesses,
millionaires,
cowboys,
living in
fantasy worlds,
mansions,
the Old West.
Now I can’t live those dreams and visions
of my imagination
like I used to.
So I daydream
and write
and bring these dreams to life.
So let me daydream
and live these daydreams
Through writing
Because although I don’t have a child’s mind anymore,
I still have a child’s imagination.

that's still really cool. I enjoy any time spent with horses, even if it's cleaning their stalls HAH. alot of people think thats crazy. Their loss.

No I don't. I do ride an help to care for the horses at the stables where I ride.

That's awesome! Do you have a horse? I used to have an Arabian, but I had to give her away :(. But at least she's at a good home.
