The Search
Its ok,
No one knows.
Its like a game of hide and seek,
With a person you've never known.
Peek-A-Boo!
Its that simple.
But its not that easy,
When i see you will i know?
Playing these games,
At such a young age,
See that was only practice.
For the search that inevitably takes place.
The endless search.
Like being in a house of mirrors.
So many distractions,
But only the one at the end is worth the chase.
And there you are.
And i instantly know.
All those years of endless searching.
Are all worth it as i look upon your perfect face.
