Warm air passed by us
and I smelled your amazing scent
children ran by us, laughing
and I felt your breath as you whispered into my ear
we spoke for hours
and the sun went down as we grasped each others hands
then a woman sat down beside me and she asked who I was talking to,
I laughed and looked at your face,
and then I cried,
for you were never even there
all this time,
talking to air....

Beautiful , and so sad!

Wow, very thought-provoking! I wasn't expecting that ending, even after reading the title. Great job!
