A silent victory
Sweeping, sleeping
Slithering, slinking
Shadowing sorrow
But kissing the ashes
Of borrowed mistakes
Holding hands of those
That are long dead
And tiptoeing
Across frozen time
Being careful
For the ice
Might
Break.
