Why Wear Shoes?

I have not a clue of what I could prove, if I weren't wearing
SHOES
Who would take me seriously, if all they saw were what
ARE
my bare, pale feet? They would stare, and laugh, and ask
WHAT
in the world I was thinking. Society would tell me to
HIDE
and never return, unless I covered up. Because
OUR
outfits would never be complete, and shoes are what destiny made for our
FEET.
