They don't realize I notice,
That or they don't care.
The relentless whispering of rumors,
The hurtful stares.
Its hard to hear the lies,
The things that aren't true.
But people are so gullible these days,
They don't care about the real you.
It's just so hard to believe that,
So I keep on trying.
My small defeats turn into epic failures,
And my reputation just keeps on dying.
