Hate Is A Strong Word?
You'd think I would have learned by now.
I brand your words on to my heart.
So I will never forget again.
Just how dangerous love can be,
and how wrong of a thing it is for me.
Now I remember why I ignored those feelings
and pushed away those clouded dreams.
Because love is never as innocent as it seems.
Your cupid lips made me forget.
Your eyes of aqua, and unmistakable charm.
You really know all the words to say don't you?
I will admit, you played me well.
A menacing fiddle
amist an orchestra of lies.
I won't let you see me cry.
I want to thank you, you made a good slap.
To wake me from my dreamish nap.
Now I can see you for what you are:
A grossly indecisive boy.
Masquerading as a man.
