Quizzical Conscience
When we talk, you make me feel like what I say really matters
You make me feel like I’m really special; like we’re the only two people in the room
You make me laugh like there was no tomorrow; smile like I had never smiled before
But then you go off with certain friends and become like I don’t know who you are
Then ten minutes later, you’re back to the best guy I have ever known
What is it with you?
You confuse me every day and I don’t know what to do
You are one of my friends…..
But there’s something else there
Is it just me?
Or do you feel something, too?
