Wishing for a fairytale,
Hoping for a dream come true—
Here’s a little story twist
I’d like to share with you.

Cinderella had two sisters
Who worked her to the bone—
‘til a shoe made her a princess;
Now the castle is her home!

But now let’s say Miss Cindy’s picky,
Won’t do as her sisters say.
Instead of cleaning up her room,
She’s playing pranks all day

Cindy’s sisters, Miss and May,
Are both pretty and kind.
Missy’s the next top model
And May is a mastermind.

Cindy’s got a knack for stealing
And an eye for shiny things.
She stole Missy’s new glittery Converse
And May’s old angel wings.

When the invite came for the prince’s ball,
It was decided Cindy would not come,
For fear she might cause trouble
Or get drunk on all the rum.

But Miss Cindy came anyway—
Who cares what her sisters say?
She put on Missy’s Converse shoes
And took a dress from May.

And though Cindy arrived in style
What should put her in a hissy,
Other than the girl the prince would choose
To be his bride is Missy!

Cindy felt a burst of rage
When she spotted a shiny thing.
So she bolted from her seat
And stole the wedding right!

But on the way she lost a shoe
That Missy recognized,
And Cindy was way back home
Before she realized.

But what the heck!
What could they do
To harm Miss Cindy
With just a simple shoe?

Well they tracked her down,
Matched shoe to foot,
Slapped on some chains,
Arrested her where she stood.

May found the ring,
The prince married Missy,
And in jail Miss Cindy learned
Not to be so prissy.

Wishing for a fairytale,
Hoping for a dream come true—
Don’t steal from other people
‘lest you know what’s good for you!

I wrote this for fun. To submit for my school paper, actually, but it didn't make it. I didn't think it would, since it didn't relate to anything, but I still like it. (:
