There I stand
On the brink of death
Hoping maybe
Some hero will save me.
I start to fall off the brink,
Off the edge of the world
And Life.
Down,
Down,
Down,
I fall down the chasm
Between life
And death.
I feel at peace
Falling,
Falling,
Falling,
Down the chasm
Between life
And death.
I know the peace won’t last,
For many times I have
Fallen,
Fallen,
Fallen,
Down in the chasm
Between life
And death.
And at the end,
Before I land,
You always seem to catch me.
