Four years ago i had a very close friend who met met this guy and they were very close, and she had just found out she was pregnant,and since his family was on vacation, she decided to wait till they go home to tell him, since she figured finding out over the phone takes meaning out of it. The day he was suppose to be home his step-brother calls her and tells her, the guy and his father had been in a car wreck and neither of them made it out alive. She knew how much i loved writing, and asked me to write a poem to hang over her mantle under his and her prom pictures, so that is were the poem came from (:
