The color of red according to me.
Red is the color of the blood as it runs down my knuckles.
Walking away from the fight as my knee buckles. Red is the color that would mark you for a beating.
If you wore red we left your heart fleeting. The people I ran with had a saying and it went if you represent with red then we will find you and leave you dead.
Now I realize what red really means to me.
To me red stands for love.
Love and my girlfriend of 15 months.
Fighting over colors and street corner could never give me what Katelyn could.
Even though it was nice having friends I would rather have her.
Red is now the color of love not a color of hate.
It's warm and welcoming like her hugs and kisses.
