a gray tissue box for my birthday
A gray tissue box for my birthday
She hands it to me, and says
Here you go, happy birthday.
A blurry morning of rain down my face.
Why today, this should not exist,
This painful lonely place.
It’s ugly inside me-
Got tears down my face.
So lonely, so blurry, a mess.
I left my mother a message
The greatest gift for me- would be you,
I love you.
But she won’t call back.
A big jar of salt for my birthday.
So much for cake.
I injest like a child eating candy-
Well, now its too late.
I got my final wish-
R.I.P. my fate.
Bury me with that gray tissue box-
Happy birthday!
