Snow-Globe World

The ground is shaking,
Its upside down,
Spinning ‘round too quickly to see….
This snow globe world,
Flipped-
Shook-
Spun.
Glistening white snow falls back into
The sky
As we stand frozen and silent, our hearts not beating;
Unwilling to do anything
About it. Then-
We’re falling back into the
rain clouds
Unable to stay for long,
As this place endlessly
Quakes.
The wind swirls below,
Above,
Forever.
The haunting melody drifts and twinkles throughout
Cold winter nights,
Trapped inside this cruel
Snow globe world.
