The Hill Meets the Stars
Tara: the goddess of the stars,
explosive and self-combustive,
illuminating the sky with
a perpetual light that transforms
into an unquenchable hunger,
eating at the soul of the ones
who wish upon those stars
and turning their dreams into reality,
propelling all life.
Tara: the hill where the kings met,
standing tall in Ireland,
striving to become a mountain
and stretch its arms across the land,
waiting to be kissed by the cool
breeze that dances upon its peak.
Gone with the wind are the thoughts
of the kings upon the hill
that were carried up to the stars
of Tara.
