If we just prayed for the soldiers
Who are fighting for our country every day,
We could make a difference in someone’s life
No matter if it is physically or spiritually thinking.

If we just prayed for each other
No matter if we love them or not
It would tell the other person that we
Care for them or that we are thinking of them.

If we just prayed for the country of the USA
And realize how it’s slowly crumbling beneath our feet today,
We could build it back up and make a difference
In how we think and speak could make all the difference

If we just prayed, what a difference it would make
In hearts and lives all over this world
Loved ones or other people might get saved
If we would just pray, we could make a change.

I agree with you an that the words are so much more true when they are form your heart. Thanks for the compliments. I will keep using it with ever poem I write. I knew you were a girl, but he didn't

When you write from your heart the words are so much true-er and it feels real.  I can really just like feal my heart ticking with the poem, and it makes it so much better!!!  Congratulations!!!  That's what you've gotta do.  You've got some real talent....make sure you keep using it!!! <3

P.S. I'm a girl haha;))

thanks. I really just write about stuff that I was talking about earlier that day with my friends, that way I have had a whole day thinking about what words to use in the poem. A lot of the words come from my heart.

I LOVE THISSSS!!!!  If only everybody had this point of view....all you need to do is pray and everything will be ok....well maybe not everything but everything will be A LOT better!!!  Great job!!!  This poem is amazing....I'm tagging it as one of my favorites and giving it 5 stars!!!! <3
