A girl I know...
Broken glasses,
a crooked smile,
disheveled hair,
Oh yes, that’s her,
with a pocket full of broken dreams,
she stumbles and totters in loops,
retracing her path,
fumbling with a quick hello
to anyone and everyone she sees,
in endless loops, she wanders
desperately searching,
searching for what she never lost
