When i was young
i used to play in the sand
building castles and running from the waves from the ocean.
In the afternoon
i sat in front of the television of the rich
gathered by other little boys and girls in the hood.
Only one rich family had a television.

When i was young
i listened to the radio in the evening
waiting for my favorite songs.
And it just seemed rather sad
so much has change.
Looking back on how we used to play games, climbing trees and going on adventures with friends.
How i miss those days just like a long lost friend.
Now i have grown and everything has changed.
