Life In Your Hands
I laid down my life for you;
I handed it over, and you
indeed took it and ran it straight
into the ground
There is so need to go into depth,
because the pain introduces
itself every day, proving
that it remains ingrained in my
heart and brain
It is gradually taking my life,
eating away at it,
torturous and vindictive;
It's too late.
You smashed my feelings until they
were as thin as sheets, until
they were deceptive to me,
until I could no longer feel
them at all.
You don't care how you crush me,
as long as you get what you
come for;
So go ahead and keep
screaming for me-
you took my life a long time ago;
I'm already a goner.
