Turned Tables

I never thought that this is what I wanted,
I never thought that I should get this close.
I never thought that it was good for me,
I never thought it would be what I wanted most.
But now, I think the tables have turned:
Now I think it is what I want.
Now I think it is what is good for me.
Now I think that my odds are not high.
But now I wish that they could see.
Now I do not know what to do.
Now I am back to reality.
Now I must wait a year,
For my reality to disappear.
I never thought that my mind would come to this,
But now, I think he is what I miss.
