Sunset
Its at the end of the day, the beginning of night, the time of my life when nothing goes right. The stars disappear, the moon flickers out, the colors of the sky are gone, and the sun goes down. Falling through a hole of pain, the world's at war, falling through your open arms and I hit the floor. My heart shatters to pieces, someone's dying, my life's being cheated, my heart's lying. My best friend stabs me in the back, never calls, who I thought was my love turned out false. My hope is drowned, my belief is gone, it's the time of my life where everything is wrong. Yet a single shred of sun breaks through the storm, my heart heals itself, and love starts to form. I can't thank you enough for fixing my broken heart, for picking me up off the ground and putting back the parts.
