I sit before you with my hand raised high
A question that triumphs over all others
Three letter word that’s reasoning takes many forms
The gray in between of this question
Hurt, destroy, Create, Encourage

But Why?

It explains outcomes, choices, paths, consequences,
Directives, decisions... life

So as I sit before you with my hand raised high
Do you dare try to answer my
Three letter question

Why did it happen? Why now? Why not someone else?
Why do you act this way? Why use those words? Why do you care?
Why can’t I stop you? Why can’t I stop myself?
Why me?
