Light
Lit
There are few street lights
A star so far away
A cigarette ignites
To keep a stranger from a fit
And the sun illuminates the day
Lit
Candles placed against shade
A torch thrown to cave
Sparks from a blade
And a flashlight blinds a slave
Lit
A newborn's face
As it points toward the sun
Say the bullet's place
When it exits the gun
Lit
Candle burning
Noble Heart
Cigarette churning
It is quite a start
And We're learning
That all are
