The Perfect Piece
Each time,
a piece will try to fit,
but it just can't quite
fit in right.
Soon it would
get washed away,
lost in the sea,
drifting to a new wave;
to find their beauty.
People do come and go,
but leave,
as it's meant to be.
Each person leaves a note;
taught me something new,
whether it's treasured or rewrote -
it sticks to me like glue.
But fate has that piece,
time - replaces the others;
longed, sorrow is ceased;
the glass has been filled full,
and the world, left in peace.
