Most days life is like a train, that goes
Passing by so fast that you can't see outside
Sometimes when it's quiet and you're alone
You can see the past, silently passing by
You want to take it and never let go
But you have to learn to say goodbye

Every last memory and every lost friend
Every road you passed by that you'd never see end
Every blue-sky day and every falling of snow
You have to say goodbye, you have to let it go

I lay in the sun outside and realized that I was seeing time pass by. Eventually, I wrote this poem.

Writers are a less dangerous version of the career criminal. Everywhere they go, they see the potential for the perfect crime. The difference is that writers have better self control.

It shows the strength that must be in the author. Time goes by quickly and if you're not strong enough to let go, the past will slowely start to destroy your future.

"Carpe diem."

Really beautiful... it has a peaceful kind of feel to it... feels kinda like an elderly person imparting important wisdom on their grandchild while watching the sun set over the tree tops of their cabin... Like a breath of fresh air on a stuffy day.

Amazing as usual. :)
