broken
I am broken
Twisted and morphed
I am not who I used to be
You’ve made me play a different roll
You’ve changed the things I do
But you can’t reach down in my soul
To twist and morph it too
The only thing that’s left of me
At least is protected from you
But now that I have realized
What you’ve done to me
It’s time to stat repairing
And then you’ll finally see
That you shouldn’t have worked so hard
Twisting and morphing me
Because the real me is better
Than what you changed, you see
No fake smile or heartless eyes
Will top the things I hide inside
I am broken
Twisted and morphed
I am not who I used to be
But now I have the power
to restore the broken me
