Street light shinning through my window
bright light in my face
tossing and turning
every night the same
will i ever fall asleep?
crickets chirp
engines rev
dogs bark
so many noises
will i ever fall asleep?
stomach growling
times' slowing pace
days stretch on
nights are eternal
unconscious minds wonder
tossing and turning
will i ever fall asleep?
