Obama and the Moon
They bombed the moon
For a pompous purpose.
The data, they say,
is 'being analysed'.
Fascinating nukes they make -
The American nation
holds the key to their metal hearts
The Nobel Peace Prize Winner of the year.
The hot blonde chick at high school -
The dumbest in math? She
Got the hot football jock in school; but then
lost him to the Ugly Betty of the class.
Through the woods, a moonlit stroll
Splashes of silver tiger bushes
Discuss Hermione Granger and that troll
Or precious Gollum's nasty curses.
Blasphemy of various kinds
Mesmerized I was, that time -
Mommy didn't want me to buy
The little red book of the modern times.
But you know things are bad
When your gals title you "the w****"
For no apparent reason, but still
Take away your soul.
In the midst of all this
You know they bombed the moon;
Spread the wonderful news, though
no one's gonna listen anytime soon.
Moulin Rouge and Hairspray
Admire the mere beauty of those colours
Burn your eyes and be vibrant
while people laugh and call you g**.
Scornfull of their ignorant minds
Yet hurting throughout all this time -
screaming in agony - You despise this unfair life of yours!
it's not right, you think; No one knows you inside.
Bony children prance around and infuriate -
The're surely understood -
Their baby soft skin all rough -
black as tar - Life is fair for them. Surely.
- BOOM! -
That pigeon in that woody sky falls off - a death-metal clang
A spurt of red, a spot-hole glistens blood -
something Silver glints in the evil depths below
Surely it's fair that it ends that way!
They bombed the moon to find the water so we
Do carry on life; earth Dies behind us
With the White House and the Ka'ba
a new world - wearing space-suits? build it All Over Again.
and give him time! Obama's got a lot to cope with now -
but why does he rule the world alone?
Rise we Shall and Must - square shoulders
lead together, Nerds, Hands and Heads.
Some pits in deep blue oceans are
Full of sharks - and they don't even growl
they're in the deepest siesta
though fatty sausages like me swim past.
Dreams shine and shatter every now and then, but
Clouds are whiter, Skies are bluer
Bubbles are clearer - is the grass too green on your side?
Because all I did was ask for a little sun
So it did smile, and it will smile on me 'till the end.

it's not good enough, it's never good enough anymore.
and i don't have time to read anymore
i think that just killed it off.
it was an explosion of personal experiences!
and you couldn't be more right, even i didn't realize what i was writing untill i finished it.
so it IS a dreamy, trance-like poem.
but i have writer's block now, two years running :(
