You can judge me but I'm not changing.
You can look me in the eyes, and I won't look away.
You can yell over me, but I won't stop talking.
You can frown at me, and I'll smile.
But no matter what you try to do to me I'll never stand down.
My feet are planted.
I'm growing every minute.
I'm learning every mistake.
I'm smiling because I want to.
This is honest.
This is real.
You can't stop me once I have my mind set.
If you don't know me, then try to.
If you don't want to know me, then back off.
If you want to hurt me, just know I can take it.
If you want to help me, just know I'm stubborn.
If you want to make me cry, just provide the tissues.
If you want to brighten my day then be my sun.
If you want to rain on me, buy my umbrella.
If you don't want to hear me talk then buy some ear plugs.
If my music's too loud then walk away.
If my hair's a mess buy me a hairbrush.
You gotta problem with my sweat pants then don't look down.
It's that simple.
You'll get no wheres complaining.
Doing is the success.

yeah i know i live with my mom too we don't get along she is always trying to get rid of me but im going to virginia for 3 days come monday and she's super happy about that im not so happy though

Well yeah, I mean I'm living with my Mother now. But it was something that I needed to do for myself. I hope you have an alright time standing up for yourself! Just remember it is about you this time.

i would try that but don't the resouces or the money and besides it seems like wherever i go i find or run into someone thats my family or is a friend of the family

Yeah. Ditto. I stand up to my family and friends. Like recently I've moved because of MY choices and I had to stand up to MY parents. So I know exactly what you mean.

your welcome and i feel the same way but my feelings are mostly with standing up to my family even if it makes them unhappy because i know it will make me happy eve if sometimes it means being different

Thank you! And I bet a lot of other people fell that way too. It took my a while to realize how I felt about it. And then I just started writing this and ever since then I've been standing and holding my ground! It feels really good too. Haha, thank you for rating and commenting! I appreciate it. (-:

I love it 5 stars and trust everyone feels like that at some point but most don't realize it
