Festivals and Fairs
Cotton candy sticks to kids' mouths,
and the rides make noises like multiple ring tones.
People are in line for fun in games,
with their tickets ready and excitement growing.
Some ride 1, some 2 , some 3
but everyone gets the feeling of being free.
It's lights can be seen from miles away,
rushing crowds towards the scene.
Some games give prizes,
little teddy bears or other stuffed animals.
Smiles are available,
too many to count.
Popcorn is spilled all over the ground.
The point of them is for enjoyment,
something that is apparently hard to hold on to.
