The family sits round our table
On this very night
We haven't seen each other
Since Chanukah's last light
White candles in the middle
And I will keep them fed
Then Maria's voice will ring high and clear
To ask the questions
Of why we gather near
On this holy night of Passover
None of us will smile
Some will shed a tear
The bitter herbs remind us of the fear
The lamb shank is for the blood upon the door
Unleavened bread because of a drought of time
We dip our bread in salted water for the tears
When we lift our voices and pray
Hoping to be safe for another year
As the sun dips low
We sing our Passover song

Ah I hate cleaning too. I always miss pizza at passover.

I like it, though it's the total opposite of Passover at my house. Of course we cry at the sad parts, but we laugh and tell jokes as well. I like everything about Passover, except the cleaning and no pizza part.
