Shattered
Shattered
The ground is covered
In the smashed heart glass
With ashes of previous words said
The pictures remain cut in peices
Showing me that this was no fairytale
It was reality
My broken heart is laying on the ground
With the glass surrounding it
The bat used to tear me to peices
Is in the hands of you
All that lyes in the ashes are lies
And the pictures are an act
I tell my ashes that its my fault
And my heart still remains shattered
And the pictures seem to seperate us
Its the scissors artwork
But I tell my pictures tape will fix it
There's a crack in the middle
But hearts can conquer all
The crack will never go away
But will be learned from
And forgiven
And the bat you hold
Is to show me, my mistakes
Its to show the hurt and betrayal
It's showing me
you
After nine months my heart was whole
But my shattered heart was burnt to ashes
By the cuts of your bat
All because my actions became the
Sticks and stones to your riddle
And your riddle became my new theme song
Which I will regret
For the rest of my life

Well once we broke up we found it was both heartbreaking for the both of us.
He shattered a heart gift he gave me with a bat, and we both burnt the letters and pictures we both had given.
So this is about that.
