The butterfly glides gently
Through the warm summer air.
It stops occasionally to drink
The sweet nectar of the flowers.
As it floats around the pond,
The sparrows follow it, intrigued.
It becomes a chase,
A game.
Oh how beautiful
Is this sweet summer day.
