The church bells ring
BONG! BONG!
The sirens sing
BONG! BONG!
My father SCREAMS
The Germans are here! The Germans are here!
The battle has started
We all run in fear
The bullets flair
But you don’t care
You run and run as fast as you dare
You pray you won’t be like those on the floor
As your running and screaming “No longer, no more!”
Then the canons have stopped
You are sad and in pains
The home you once lived,
No longer remains
