Let’s imagine for a minuet that I never really cared
That I never lost my way
That this urge was never there.
Let’s imagine for a minuet that I never saw the light
That I never had to turn away
From what I knew was right.

Let’s pretend for just a moment that I never was confused
That everything was clear to me
That hope was not abused.
Let’s pretend for just a moment that I had it all planed out
That I knew all that I could be
That I shut out my doubts.
