High School Dance
The first noticable thing is the fog
Creeping along tiled ground
Dense pressure on deciding what's right or wrong
With young ladies turning sex from sound
A slight jealousy for all the couples
That joy sparks between their locked eyes
Makes mine watery and muffled
How we can't show the same acceptance for the butterflies
I have to get away from this place
From this confusing,sad,fun heat box
This is already causing a daze
Becoming something completely toxic
So,i'm going to run
Into the star-lit dirt street in a trance
Because i feel my movement has been shunned
In the short-minded high school dance
