An image of heaven disguised in flesh and bones

A soul inside a vessel so it’s slightly less bruised

A memory inside my mind; fast forward and rewind

One single memory gone in the blink of an eye

And sometimes when I need it most I’ll hit repeat and just let it go.

I recently lost my grandmother to cancer. This is how I'm coping. I'm grasping onto every memory of her I possibly can just to avoid letting go.

Very cool. Haunting almost. In the third stanza, you included a rhyme which I just loved! I don't know what it is about rhymes.. But I love them. If anything to improve this poem, make it rhyme more! The random rhyme threw me a bit.
