the rain
Rain trickles down and hits my window sill
The thunder roars like and irate lion
Lighting flashes through my window
Like a signal flare to show my position
I am alone
I enjoy it
I am scared
I am envious
For those who have it know not
What to do with it
But for the ones who care will never be cared for
So this is why it rains on me
For my heart for is too big
My mind is too small
For I thought I had it all
Now I can find nowhere to safely fall.
