Shaped From the Past
//I am from stuffed animals and collections of toys/
From sleeping on the couch and scrumptious home-cooked meals,/
I am from never-ending arguments with my siblings and irritating acts of stupidness/
From laziness with chores and too much TV,/
I am from quiet neighborhood and brown house/
From energetic neighbors and backyard barbecues,/
Earlier years can be looked back upon,/
Seeing how crazy and joyful it was./
//I am from inseparable best friend and irreplaceable memories/
From adventures around the world and pointless fights,/
I am from wacky inventions and unthinkable games/
From allergies and jealousy,/
I am from hours of movies and video games/
From parties and restaurants,
How much I wish I could relive those moments,/
Just one more time./
//I am from saxophone and ukulele/
From concerts and field shows,/
I am from paintings and countless drawings/
From doodles on notebooks and complete boredom,/
I am from trips everywhere and souvenirs/
From celebrations for many occasions and church,/
There are many more that I do,/
Only these come to my mind first./
//What describes me isn't just my personality,/
But what had happened back then does as well,/
All of these show what I have came to be,/
All of these and tons more have shaped me,/
Never regretting any of them./
