Lost Memories
I am from quaint, medium size houses./ From houses that are always clean and have mo mouse./ The walls are barren and clear with no picture in sight./ From the walls of my bright room that are white./ I am from Clifton, NJ./ From the old house near the bay.// I am from great friends who really care./ They would help if i was mauled by a bear./ I am from events that my parents still laugh at./ From wearing enormously foolish hats./ I am from tasty spaghetti./ Now this is a distant memory.// I am from my favorite chlidhood toy./ That Tonka truck I played when i was a boy./ I am from a sister that is sincere./ From a brother that is an engineer./ I am from old school uniforms I hated./ These are now in the dump because they are outdated.// All of these memories are now packed away./ Gone a long time ago; I think about them every day./ These events of the past are somewhere./ Locked away but i know that they're there./ They will soon bloom again/ And I will remember them then.
