Give a coin to the wishing well
It shimmers
Splashes
Clashes with the murky waters
So wish on it
Think on it
And flash back on your best days
The worst days
The just in-between days
To dream of what might be tomorrow
Give a coin to the wishing well
It listens better than most
Sometimes it's best
To leave your wishes
To coins and silvery fish
