My mind is running wild
My heart is filled with hope
My eyes are gleaming, staring off into space
My desires are more than they seem
My interests are floating on a cloud, flying up higher and higher
I am a daydreamer
By day I imagine all my dreams
By night I dream my dreams in sleep
I am a daydreamer
Totally unfocused and oblivious to my surroundings
Only paying attention to what's in my head and in my heart
Inspired by music, soothed by silence
I am a daydreamer
In my heart and soul my dreams are alive and there for life they will stay
Just a heartbeat away
Forever always
I am a daydreamer

The author's comments:
This poem is talking about how I usually don't know what's going on in the real world because I am too busy living in my perfect fantasy world. The world isn't perfect and is hardly peaceful but in my own little imaginary world I am always happy and everything is perfect. Although it isn't reality it's still fun to dream about.
