If you were me
in my place, position
how long would you last?
do you think
that you could have made it
through the times the weight of tears
broke me like a twig
all caused by you,
probably couldn't have
picked yourself and glued it back
if you were me.
if you were me
in my mind, thoughts
how long would you last?
the times my mind raced
to and fro times you hurt me
oblivious to it all
so stinging i fell apart
so close to an end
of an untwining rope
probably couldn't have
twisted it back into place
if you were me.
luck you aren't.
