I do know that the words
They are running past my ears
I learned this in
Maybe sixth grade.
No, I'm not thinking about grammar
I'm staring at the window
I say at, not out
You will see
The green leaves move
Like twinkling Christmas lights
It doesn't look like a window, to me
I see
A painting hanging on the wall
Bringing light to this room
The lights are off
A twinkling, bright painting
On the white wall, the fresh green
Is nice
